random Kernel-Power errors persist on clean install/new hardware

I had a system that was blue screening and having sporadic critical Kernel-Power errors. I have since replaced the power supply, motherboard, CPU, graphics card and RAM. the only parts that remained were the ODD and HDD.. I am still getting Kernel-Power errors ("information" and "error" level only now) but it is not blue screening.

I read another thread that made me think it could be my old power strip/surge protector that could be failing. but I'd like to ask if this would possibly be the hard drive? it was wiped, reformatted and a clean install of Windows was done. I can't think of a way the hard drive itself could cause my issue but I just wanted to double-check.

I ran SeaTools on "Fix All > Long" and "Long Generic" both of which passed. I also ran an SFC scan, but "no integrity violations were found". I use Parted Magic fairly regularly, I assume that will suffice for a live Linux CD? I will try that during the course of the day if the errors keep popping up.

I will be replacing the power strip tonight, but I am noticing some new errors in the event log today. "Source: Schannel, Event ID: 36887" and "Source: e1dexpress, Event ID: 27"

I'm not sure what the first one means, but the description of the second one says the link was disconnected on my wired network adapter. I am able to verify that another machine that on the LAN encountered no such error so this was not simply an interruption in service. this event (with error level "warning") has occurred 28 times in the past 24 hours.

I'll try scrubbing the driver and reinstall with the latest version.
