How do i find a CPU Cooler that fits to my system?

My CPU is overheating when gaming, so I need a new cooling system, but how do I find one that matches on my motherboard and fits + cools enough on my CPU ?

my CPU : Intel Core i7 870 @ 2.93GHz (Lynnfield)
my Motherboard : Intel Corporation DH55TC (XU1)

Your MB is a LGA1156 socket so you'll need to find a cooler with the correct brackets and whether you wish to use air or water to cool it is up to you. You'll find many solutions and many types of both systems so it's really a matter of how much you wish to spend and water in general will give you better cooling

Will any Cooler that fits the LGA1156 socket do? Im afraid of getting a too weak one and that it does not fix my cooling issues then

Yes any cooler that fits it will do but you'd want something better than what you currently have so it still depends on your budget and the more you spend the better hardware you'll usually get. It's worthwhile doing some research online once you decide which one is within your budget and see what others say about the performance of the cooler. I could list 100's of coolers but without knowing how much you wish to spend it's a waste of time

yeah, I also need to learn how to do it, so that next time I can do it with out having to ask for help I recently got that Amd R9 270 series gfx card, its right below my CPU and the heat from the gfx card overheats my CPU.. so im thinking of changing the cooler on the CPU might be wasted after all ?

A better cooler is always worth it and you can always add extra fans to your system if it gets too hot unless you're already at full capacity in which case a better case can help. You'll find many tutorials on YouTube showing step by step how to change a cooler for most motherboards and it's not that difficult as long as you take the necessary precautions such as disconnecting the power cable from the computer and discharging any current in the system by pressing the power button for approx 30 secs after disconnecting the cable as well as earthing yourself while working on the motherboard

It'll tell you in the packaging as well as once you decide which one it'll tell you in the product description online such as the one below and scroll down and look for Socket Compatibility entry

(Not sure where this actually fits)
So this morning my computer froze, forcing me to force a shutdown/reboot. When I turned it back on, it showed the attached pics. I have no idea what it means or anything. All I know is there's dollar signs in that gibberish, and that makes it important.

What fits my needs if QoS does not?
My Setup: DSL 4500/500kbit/s to Router (WRT54GS+TomatoFW) to Win7 64bit PC I'm tired of QoS not being able to regulate the downstream, because by the time it could do that the packets are always blocking the bottleneck anyway. It's logical but I don't like it. I'm tired of trying to limit the...
