Everything i try to load from any SSD will freeze / not work

    Hi,

    I have 2 ssd's in my computer.
    1 samsung evo 840 - 420GB
    and 1 kingston SSDnow 64GB.

I had another kingston 64gb, but that one wasn't working anymore, so i bought the 420GB samsung.
on the 64 GB kingston, i have my windows, and 1 game. (counter strike)
Windows will load on it without any problem, but the game won't load at all.
if i put the game on my other SSD (samsung evo) it will also not load, but when i put it on my HDD, it's loading perfect.
    Dota 2 (game) same story
    Battlefield 3 (game) same story
Far cry 4, it starts up, but won't load a map (on ssd) and working perfect on HDD.

Anyone any idea what's causing this? i can't believe both of my SSD's are broken. The samsung is 2 weeks old.

    i run win7 ult x64,
    amd fx-8350, and a Asrock fatal1ty 990fx killer motherboard with 16GB DDR3 ram

Here's a benchmark of my samsung evo SSD

Officially it should have a read of 540 mb/s.
i think it's so high because of Ram caching or something like that.

so you can copy files to and from the drive?

maybe copy a movie to and from the drive and see if it still works.

i'd maybe try swapping drive letters and sata ports, formatting mbr as gpt or vice versa.

all i said is very maybe.

nothing really, grabbing at straws here.

you sure you formatted ntfs? not fat or something?
what if you install anything else, say photoshop or at least a browser on that drive?
i got no ideas about games to be honest.
