Windows stops @ Startup / Shutdown, CHKDSK repeats over and over
Yo, second time posting on this forum and I need some help again.
My computer has been going pretty nutty lately, randomly refusing to close programs (dosent work with ALT F4, closing the program or the process), and forcing me to restart my computer to start said program again. Usually happens to World of Warcraft, also happened to Skype a couple of times aswell as Google Chrome.
So.. I try to turn my computer off. Uh, windows is exiting... For up to 30 minutes (that's how long i've waited, kinda got tired of waiting after that), so I just use the reset button or turn it off completely. Now, i'll just start the PC normally to use this program again, right? No, windows is starting.. For another 20-30 minutes, before I give up and restart it again. Eventually after around 4 minutes it decides that hey, something is run so i'll inconsequence-run CHKDSK. It finds a ton of issues every time, I have no idea how or why, but after running CHKDSK (usually on E:, almost never on C: which is where my windows is installed) everything works perfectly fine until a program freezes up again.
Im posting this thread on this part of the forum because it kinda seems to be an issue with one of the HDDs but i might be wrong, so feel free to move it if need be.
Appreciate any help I can get!
Regards
Alex
