Computer crashing while booting lsi 9750 Raid card

okay, i never had to get outside help, but this is killing me.

main machine crashes during every other boot. win7. either freezing / different types bluescreen before logon, or crashing processes at logon (explorer, event notification, themes, gpedit..)

this happens when my lsi 9750 raid controller card is installed. has been working for 2 years, no problem.
have swapped raid controller card for identical one, have swapped raid drives for different enterprise models.

tried disabling services one-by-one, no effect.

computer boots fine in safe mode with raid available.

have reinstalled three times, swapped almost every piece of hardware:

Mobo: asus p9x79 ws - rma'ed, swapped
os disk: corsair force gt swapped for samsung 850 pro
swapped bluray drives
swapped different corsair hx PSUs
quadro gpu swapped for geforce gpu
3ware 9750 raid card swapped for identical unit
wd 4tb raid drives swapped for seagate 6tb ones

haven't swapped:
cpu, xeon 6 core 2011
ram 32 kingston ecc, certified for the system

Lsi support is fresh out of ideas.
kinda eating my hat here.

and what's also really wired, is that the machine boots fine in safe mode, but not with all services disabled.

Computer keeps on crashing. Possibly Video Card
My computer has been crashing lately, a lot. About a month ago, I added an LSP 550 Watt power supply and an ATI 4870 512 MB that I got on sale. Starting on May 20th, my computer has been crashing, and a lot. The video card's fan sometimes doesn't give a stable sound. I am still under warranty, so...

Booting issues after moving RAID from one mobo to another.
This is a bit unusual, and I've not anyone discussing this before. I changed my older MSI motherboard to a newer one. I had RAID on the old one using an expansion card; but the new mobo has a built-in RAID, so I hooked up the drives (SATA) directly to it. AFter establishing the RAID, it looks...
