My laptop's touchpad goes crazy

Hey and and thank you for the help I have an asus x401u and it came with windows 7 but i installed windows 8 dual boot then I started having problems with windows 8 so I performed a system recovery so that I had all the default settings, after like 1 to 2 months my mouse started to malfunction but it only happens after I've been using it for a while, when i put my finger to move, scroll, click, etc it looks like if it was shaking or moving by it self and i tried uninstalling it and installing it again and it didn't work, I installed windows 8 still didn't get fixed I've been searching to see if there a way to fix it to none of them work so I don't know what should I do. I've noticed that when I have my laptop in battery saving mode it usually work perfectly can someone please help.
