What does Soft Loading a Hard Drive mean?

    Yes, I have always had it connected to a Microsoft account. I didn't think that was the problem until they sent it back to me. I tested it with their local account and it went to sleep. I tested it with my mom's account connected to her Microsoft account, and it takes a while to sleep.

    Good news. It's sleeping with the Microsoft account connected. My Laptop blue screened again after I installed updates the day before yesterday. I'm thinking one of those updates and it are not getting along.

    How is the Laptop today ? ... Might be a good idea to turn of Automatic Updates ... I have test machines i use for the Updates ...

    Automatic Updates on the Laptop are turned off. I haven't turned it on today. They are set to check for updates, but notify me when updates are available.
