Stick with a regular DVD burner.

If you buy a Bluray burner, you will still have to purchase a program (Dvd player) to run it and that will add about $75.00.

Watch your blurays on a stand alone bluray player on your TV.

You'll be happier and save money.:)

You can sometimes find optical drives that can read & burn CDs and DVDs, and read but not burn Blu-Ray discs. I'unno how much they cost, though.

    Here's a few.

I would go with the least expensive, but go with a name brand.

    Good luck!!

The Lite on get real good reviews, but they're all good.
