USB 3.0 port is not detected

Hello, this is my first time posting on this forum and i would like some help from you guys. I have been using my laptop, Acer ASPIRE 4752 for about 2 years and it has been working like a charm, except that its USB 3.0 port is malfunctioning. The weird thing is, the port does have power since i can charge my cellphone using a USB cable slotted to the port, but it cannot read my harddisk. My harddisk can be read using my other 2 USB 2.0 ports. It does not even exist in my device manager.

As i checked in the Control Panel, the 'Renesas Electronics USB 3.0 Host Controller Driver' has already been installed

I have also enabled the process for startup

I have tried restoring my laptop to factory setting and it obviously is not working. please help!

    Hi ther encikmizi and Welcome

Is there anything in the BIOS (maybe disable USB or something similar)?
What if you uninstall the device (and delete the driver as well) from Device Manager, reboot the system and let Windows discover it again?
