Can my laptop support 2133 MHz memory?

I have an HP Envy 15z-j100 laptop with an AMD A10-5750M APU and 2x8 GB of DDR3 1600 MHz memory. The graphics performance is decent, but I am considering upgrading to 2x4 GB of 2133 MHz RAM to get a higher framerate in games.

However, I don't know the APU's (and motherboard's) RAM speed support. I read that the 5750M is rated to support 1866 MHz RAM, so I'm thinking it's capable of handling 2133 MHz (following the same logic that Intel's CPUs have, where things like the 4790K--rated for 1600 MHz memory--can support 1866 and faster). But, I know nothing about the motherboard's memory speed support.

I would hate to spend $80 on RAM, only to have it downclocked due to a lack of support from the APU or motherboard.

Is there something similar to that I can run on Linux (Ubuntu 14.04 to be specific)?

I'm running it through Wine right now, but it's already been about 5 or 10 minutes; I'm not sure it is going to work.

UPDATE: I ran it on my main rig, and the results only stated things that resources like Intel ARK state. For instance, according to the scanner, the fastest memory supported by my 4790K is 1600 MHz; however, I'm clearly running 1866 MHz memory just fine:

(HD 4600 at the moment because I sold my 660 to my brother to get funds for a 970)

According to the Manual on your product, it can only handle DDR3-1600 memory. SO, you're wasting your money buying anything faster.

You should download and read your Manual from the link: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03943414.pdf

I'm not sure why, but I was having trouble finding the manual when I first investigated the potential for an upgrade.

Thanks!

Does Windows 7 support the SDHCX Memory Cards? If it does, is there anything else on my PC that I might need to be concerned with recognizing this memory? Thanks,
