Where do I find a webcam for my laptop?

    Hi there.
I did a clean install of Windows 7 a few weeks ago. I just noticed that I don't seem to have a
webcam or quick cam on my laptop anymore. There is nothing under accessories.
I'm not sure what I need to do.
Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.

Notebooks usually have the Webcam built into the frame around the display panel, probably at the top. Since you did the 'clean install' you probably need to get the drivers for the Webcam from the manufacturer's site. You show HP in your System Specs.

Yup, just go here and you should find your driver software for the webcam:

Hi there. I need a little more help.
I decided to check my PC again for the webcam. I went to device manager. It tells me I have a HP Web Cam - 101.
It also says drivers are up to date. What I am not understanding... I can not find the cam on my PC.
There is no web cam icon in accessories. I type in the name to search for it and nothing comes up. I'm not getting it???

Various programs can use the Webcam such as Skype. Might check here if you want a program to install:

Go into Control Panel/click on Device Manager/see if lists imaging devices.
    That's where mine was located.
