    SD2 hard drive wont open


    my hard drive was working fine and now my computer wont even see the hard drive when connected, i have lots of personal stuff that i dont want to lose

    Far wiser techs than I are going to ask you for details, such as external USB? HD enclosure? NTFS [GPT or MBR]? I had a couple of flash sticks that suddenly refused to flash [work] anymore. I sure hope your HD can be brought back to life w/o reformatting. Can you attach to another computer? If so, what happens? Exactly what error message [if any] do you get?

Hard drive wont initialise

i have a 800 gig western digital 3.5" hardrive. i was busy copying files then it failed and wont startup again. it shows in disk management as not initialised but when i try to initialise it says incorrect function. other forums say the drive is dead but does any one know of any solutions for this?...
i just reinstalled windows 7 ultimate x86 (as you man know from my other post) and now the DVD drive wont open the windows 7 dvd is still in the drive how can i get it working again and get my dvd back???
Hard drive wont show up

Evening, like title says my harddrive wont show up when I'm installing windows 7. I followed the instructions up to the select a harddrive/partition but it wont show and says that I need an installation media for it to be read. I assume this would be where I need a RAID file from my usb but...
