Can not access 1 of my disc drives

I did a clean install of Windows 7. I formated the disc and then installed Windows 7 fron the DVD. I have 3 disc drives, 2 SATA and 1 ATA drive. I can see all drives in Device manager and there are no errors. If I run windows explorer the 2 SATA drives show but the ATA drive does not. Also My Computer only showes the 2 SATA drives. I have tried un-installing the ATA drive and re-booting but the drive showes up in Device manager but not windows explorer. The ATA drive is a Seagate ST3160815A. I checked the Seagate site for firmware updates but there are none. Any ideas?

Open disk management and right click on the drive. Assign it a drive letter.

Better to refer to the drive as IDE as opposed to ATA.
