my laptop (acer aspire 7751) not displaying anything when booted

    Good Job :).

    I can't think of any other reasons at the moment why it would still not boot unfortunately, but some other SF members might have some ideas .

    I will also post any more ideas as I think of them to help too.

    Edit: When you say it booted successfully 6 times in a row. Did you do a Power Button Shutdown (holding the power button for a force shutdown) or are you shutting it down normally (start menu > shutdown).

    Sometimes doing a Power Button Shutdown each time you turn off your computer can damage the computer boot process.

    i did a (start menu > shutdown). and (start menu > reset (although before when my bios where outdated i did have to manually power it off a few times )
