    unconfigured new Samsung SSD


    hi there
    i always get this message when i boot my pc. then i press space and it boots normally. so question is why does this message come up every time?

    Is this SSD your boot device and where does it stand in the BIOS boot order.

    yes it is and it is first on order list

    I would move the SSD to the Intel controller. Is there a reason you have it attached to the Marvell?

    The Marvell is probably the 6Gb port.

    That board has two 6 GB ports (brown) on the Intel controller.

    Yes, put it on the #1 Intel sata port.

    Always put your main OS drive on the #1 port, glad you got it fixed :)
