Pc emitting green light and dialling-like sound?

    Hello again
I'm posting about my weird problem (potentially) with PC and girl somewhat xP
So 2 days ago, I was watching a movie on PC with my gf somewhere in the middle I went to WC, she paused movie and after about 3 minutes when I came back, she told me that there was something weird with PC and that it "was making dialling like sound (three signals) and after that emitted some small green light on the side" o.O
After that PC was operating absolutely normally like always, no problems.
I was like WTF, is that even possible? I heard about some beeps on older mobos when there were some problems in Pc (with RAM for example) that occurs in POST screen but never heard about any sound given by PC while working PLUS some green light on top of that.

My question is - is something like that even possible on PC? I think she may have heard something other (outside the window/ from neighbors living upper floor) and just misplaced that sound came from PC actually.
More bothering would be that green flash, my mobo is ASROCK H81M-ITX and I don't think there are even any LED's on it Also my GPU is ::Products - GTX 750 StormX OC (1024MB GDDR5) ::
and case Cooler Master: Elite 110

It really drives me crazy, I don't think this is even possible but then again she was serious when talking about this (still is).

While I don't know about a "green light", my PC regularly buzzes similarly if I leave my cell phone close to one or both speakers.

You are a bit low with your power supply. Some less than the best power supplies will cause strange sounds when worked hard.

    PSU Fortron 430W
Minimum for your video card is a quality 450W power supply. I would suggest a quality 650W power supply.

I have no idea the quality of a Fortron power supply.

I disagree about PSU, 430W is plenty for GTX750 + G3420, recommended wattage for this GPU on manufacturer site is 300W.

Yes it is possible to get error beeps while a system is running. These do not usually come from the motherboard/case speaker, but through the sound chip and PC speakers.

I once put some stuff down on my desk and unaware that some of it was on top of the keyboard. That was the first time I got while-running beeping. I was not going to try and recreate that scenario to see what caused it.

It is possible that pausing the video created a complaint from the system concerning the video card or the hard drive. But I doubt that you want to try and recreate that scenario to see what caused it.

I'm guessing here, but I bet you have a computer case with windows on the side?
If that is the case then your GF may have been able to see an error LED on the motherboard shining through the case window.
Get her to show you approximately where the light was coming from and that may provide a clue as to what happened.

TVeblen, yes my case do have vents on both sides, as you can see here http://assets.coolermaster.com/globa...1381951732.jpg

My gf told me that she saw this grren light somepleace the vent is, as visible on above photo, right after this vent sits GPU and above it HDD. As far as I know my GPU dont have any LEDs on it, but if someone confident in Pc hardware could confirm - Do my MOBO and GPU have any on board LED's?

The motherboard might. Can't tell from the pictures on the ASRock site though. But most modern motherboards do.

That beeping after you place something on keyboard surely was standard beeping in Win98/XP while you press simultaneously 3 or more buttons, but this is not present on Win7 and nothing was touching my keyboard either.

Didn't mean it was. Just that you can get beeps even after the OS is running.
