    Hi Alexey,

The first thing that i am going to consider is to try another power adapter, test if the battery will recharge.
How long have been using your laptop? Laptop batteries will eventually lost its life overtime.

    Thanks ShoTTaS for the reply.

The laptop is an old Dell XPS series one and this its 2nd battery, hasn't lasted long hardly a year the one that came with the lap lasted a long period?

I feel the issue is with the battery and not the original adapter..... Cause even when fully charged displays the red icon " Consider replacing the battery" and lasts hardly 30 mins?

    Its a 9 cell 11.1 V 85W Dell specs.

How important is their mAh........cause some Chinese made are available too.......5200 mAh and 7800 mAh?

As posted an app to check info about new battery like specs, date of manufacture?

    Thanks again.

    Try this first
Try to run MS fix it from here and check if that helps.

Tips for solving problems with USB devices

Also try uninstalling all the ports from device manager and restart the computer and check.

If that doesn't fix it, i would likely want to go to what your computer suggested. to consider replacing the battery.
