    Printer connection problem

I am running Win 7 64bit home premium. I have an Epson Photo PX810FW printer. set up is wireless to a BT hub 5.

It has always worked in the past. Currently I can scan to my PC but I cannot get it to print from the PC unless I use a usb cable to connect it. I had thought that it was not connected by wireless but since it is scanning to the computer ok, that is not so.

Any ideas would be very welcome.

    Thanks

I didn't see it mentioned but can you Copy from the printer? The Scan function is separate but the Copy function uses the hardware for both Scanning and Printing.

If it were mine I'd set it up using an Ethernet cable to my Router, much more reliable than its Wi-Fi. I have an HP Officejet and an HP Laserjet connected that way and all Wired and Wi-Fi computers with the software installed can print to them.

Hi Thanks for the info. Yes the printer will copy documents. It also must be connected wirelessly otherwise it surely could not scan to the computer? I could connect as you suggest with a cable but Why should it suddenly happen when it has been working fine for several years?

Tried a cable but no good. Finally, I contacte Epson for the 4th time on a chat postlink and a person took my through a system that I had already tried and it failed to work but she got me to that stage and then guided me through a lengthy process of trial and error to eventually get my printer connected. I told her that I was now in love with her and that it was working.

    Thanks for the help.
