Seagate external

    I used the built in burner and then set the boot priority.

    Then restarted with the cd/external connected. The beginning screen paused and went no further. I then took the external usb out and it took me into seatools for do.

    But this might be no good if the external is disconnected.

    Ok we have some luck... I let it wait and the external is still connected.

    Should I restart and try again hoping seatools recognises the drive. Or maybe try the bootice instructions given?

    Or you can call it a night and can continue whenever you feel. Either way is ok with me.

    I tried again... This time the process happened much quicker but seatools still don't recognise the external.
