PC didnt boot up suspected cause pci-e wifi adapter

So just a few hours ago. I started up my pc and a few minutes after, my internet just stopped working. It had that red cross. Then my pc hanged and decided to shut it down from the power button.

I powered the pc on again but it just wouldn't go past the POST screen just a black screen not even a beep. The fans and drives were working properly. After continuously powering on and off the pc it made 1 long beep and 3 short ones or 2. Then after a few seconds it turned off and on by itself. I was Like wth???

Anyway after a few more tries it finally turned on normally. Now i still don't have internet connection. It's like the wifi adapter doesn't exist because i checked from control panel/network connections, it isn't there. I was wondering if this wifi internet adapter is the culprit here.

What do you guys think? My mobo is gigabyte. I hope its not the mobo.

Thanks!

EDIT: Ok it gave me a bsod. I decided to remove the network adapter my pc turned on normally. However i'm still not sure if either the adapter or the pcie slot is to blame. What do you think please?

It's unlikely for a PCIe slot to fail, unless it's been physically stressed by repeated plugging and unplugging using force. Therefore, I would tend to suspect the Wi-Fi adapter.

Leave it out for a while and see if the computer runs normally. If the computer is OK, your fault is the Wi-Fi adapter. I wouldn't plug it back in the motherboard again in that case. If it has an electrical fault, it might damage the motherboard.

This morning did it again. It hanged and tried to restart it. But it's just turning off and on by itself with the occasional beeping sounds like one long beep And three quick ones. But most of the time it doesnt even beep. Its like it doesnt have the power enough to boot or go past the POST screen.

Im suspecting the PSU is failing because last week certain videos were stuttering and even while listening to music from soundcloud. Could it be the psu?

There could be a problem with something other than the power supply if the computer is beeping like that. Can you fill out your system specs so that I know what kind of hardware you have? I especially need to know the brand and make of your motherboard, please.

Not only PSU, it may be
1) Mobo
2) RAM
3) Virus
Did you boot into your BIOS?
