A good mouse is hard to catch.

I'm using 2 Microsoft Wireless 5000 mouse and one has a button going a little crazy.

On you two system I like to have matching keyboards and mice.

So I went looking just to buy another M/S 5000. I found out I could buy the combination mouse and keyboard for less than just buying the M/S 5000 by itself.

Not good. I already have to matching M/S keyboards I have replace with Das 4 Pro keyboards. I don't need 3 matching keyboards I don't use.

So I went mouse hunting. What a job. Their has got to be a hundred thousand different ones.
It must be wireless and I don't want one with 36 buttons for gaming and mowing your lawn.

Now we are down to about ten thousand to choose from.
Lots of Logitech which I had bad luck many years ago. That is the reason I use M/S.

Well I found that if you want a mouse for every day use with only the few extra button like I want the choice is Logitech.

I bit my lip and ordered two of these from my local Intel dealer. Should be at my house tomorrow.

If their is any tricks I should know about a Logitech mouse drivers and programs I should know?

My inventory of extra mouse and keyboards is big enough.
I really want Logitech to work this time.

I like this video. Shows years of use and abuse and it still keep on working.

I have 3 of these Logiteck meeses and they work great. I prefer the trackball kind because then I don't get carpal tunnel syndrome and they work on my towel that I have underneath. There are only 2 extra small buttons for forward and backward.

Any specific reason for it having to be wireless Jack? I've never had anything but trouble with wireless mice myself so steer well clear.

Wireless is because one computer are on the other end of the room and really don't want to run any more USB 20 ft cables around the wall to get to the tower.

I really haven't had any problems with MS wireless mouse or wireless keyboards.
I'm hoping I have the same luck with the Logitech mice.

One tower is close enough but I want both mice to be exactly the same. Just like both my keyboards are the same.
When I shift from using one system to the other my 3 brain cells don't have to make any adjustments.

I also use the Logitech M570 Trackball wireless mouse & it is a replacement for an old Logitech Trackball & that was a replacement for the first Logitech Trackball that I owned going back to Windows 95 & Logitech mice have served me well.

Layback Bear, if you decide on the Logitech M570 mouse be sure to follow their download instructions in the literature that comes with it & then make sure you select the 64 bit version if you are using that. Install the software & then set up the mouse to suit yourself.

Every since Microsoft came out with the Mouse and keyboard center Microsoft mice.. aren't worth spit
I've chunked my Microsoft mice in the garbage
On my laptop I use a x-p Gateway mouse and on my desktop I have my new red dragon and it's pretty cool :)
