If I can attach a HD(HDD/SSD) to the USB with an enclosure or a USB wire. They perform the same function. Then, what benefit from an enclosure?
I am a little bit confused with a HD which can be inserted to an enclosure which then can be connected to a USB port , and HDs can be directly connected to a USB port.
If you not planning to move the hdd/ssd from your room/office and not worried you might spill some coffee or damage it in some way no enclosure is required.
    It's to protect the HDD/SSD
    Thanks a lot,
I don't think so or otherwise Whs had to not use a SSD and and a USB3 enclosure including cable. He can use SSD and USB cable only if only USB3 enclosure can protect the HDD/SSD.

For obvious reasons, the SSD works the best. Operations on the HDD will be slower. I have also tried a fast USB3 stick. But that was too slow. See performance section for details.
I found a $55 'value pack' -a SSD and a USB3 enclosure including cable. The 30GB SSD is large enough to accommodate Windows 8 or any Linux distro with room to spare.

According to the pictures you posted, there is no Express card slot. So eSata is out. And as we said, there is no real functional difference between an enclosure and a cable.

Just buy what you can, an external drive is used for storage, so who cares about speed. USB is fine :)

It`s not something you`re gonna use all the time, you hook it up, you use it, you put it away, much the same as a flash drive.

Then, I can only understand that 'enclosure' is used to only to protect HDD/SSD.
Can enclosure be able to convert an internal HDD/SSD which only has a eSata connector to USB connector 'port', I can use it as an external HDD/SSD with a USB port.

    Secondly:

Kingston SSDs are good. In fact they were the first in the industry to produce SSDs
I was told these disadvantages of Kingston SSD.

Everyone has their favorite brand. Intel, Samsung and Crucial are generally better regarded than Sandisk and Kingston.
The Kingston SSD you mention is capable of being an external drive because it comes with a USB/SATA adapter. The purpose of the adapter is to allow you to clone your current drive to the SSD to perform an easy upgrade. This is for people with laptops that only have one drive bay. However, I would strongly recommend avoiding this particular drive because Kingston switched out for cheaper parts after the initial reviews and specifications were done. The newer shipments no longer perform as advertised, which was a very dishonest move, IMHO.

Finally: Could you please reply to my post about the shipping from the eBay.com?

Although it is out of topic, yes, that is absolutely right all over the world, except in Yemen, for clear reasons.
I heard that usually items are stolen in the Yemeni customs department, and then will not be arrived by the buyer, in particular if they are priced with more than a hundred dollars.

Even if I were stupid, I'd order/purchased items, for instance at eBay.com, How would I be able to be one hundred percent sure that items are really stolen in Yemeni customs department, and the persons in the US really sent my items to Yemen. However, once my items got arrived in Yemen, then the items got stolen in the Yemeni customs department. Also, what should I do if my items hadn't been received by me.
No thing in Yemen is going as you think.

I think you are still mixing things up. Any disk can be used as an external disk or internal disk - if the form factor fits (e.g. you cannot put a 3.5" disk into a laptop but into a desktop).

The external disk attachment can be via USB2, USB3 or eSata provided you have ports with that capability. But any modern PC has at least USB2 which is the slowest of the three. Whether you attach with an appropriate cable or an enclosure makes no difference.

This is the kind of cable you would need to attach to a USB3 port.

It's entirely up to you to decide if Kingston's move is "dishonest".

The complaint has nothing to do with the reliability of the drive or its advantage over an HDD.

It's irrelevant anyway because you've already said you have no other choice in Yemen.

You'd be foolish to buy from eBay considering the theft and customs situation you've described in Yemen.

Buy the Kingston from local suppliers or don't buy an SSD, until and unless your theft and customs improves, you move to another country, or your reliable suppliers can supply some other SSD.

    No it isn't.
    Thanks a lot,
Could you please not confuse me?

Not me who said that 'The 30GB SSD is large enough to accommodate Windows 8 or any Linux distro with room to spare'. However, He is Wsh in his tutorial I have posted its link in the very first post of mine.

Samsung 850 Pro EVO and Intel 730 Series are probably the best

Yes, I agree that Samsung 850 Pro EVO and Intel 730 Series are probably the best.
However, could you please let me know if the advantages of Samsung 850 Pro EVO and Intel 730 Series are very significant than the others. So, I can await a chance to get one of them instead of buying Kingston SSD.
To be honest with you, I really found that eBay.com sellers don't ship the item 'Samsung 850 Pro EVO' to Yemen, Also, even if they can ship it to Yemen, the items sent to Yemen usually got stolen in the Yemeni customs. Thus, I don't want to put my money in such a high risk.

I found the price of 'Samsung 850 Pro 512GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-7KE512BW) Hard Drive' with US$359.31. However, the shipping fee is $16.95 Economy Int'l Shipping. So, the total is about $376

I ONLY found in Yemen Kingston Digital 480GB SSDNow V300 SATA 3 2.5-Inch Solid State Drive with Adapter (SV300S3N7A/480G) by Kingston. However, its price is $350
So, the difference between the price of the Kingston, and Samsung 850 pro is about $26.
I think both Kingston, and Samsung 850 pro can be internal or external SSD. So, According to the significant advantages between Kingston, and Samsung 850 pro, which I can purchase?

    Thank you so much indeed,
Great what you said, Wsh. The image in the link above was great I have never seen such a USB to eSata cable at all. However, I would like you to confirm these points
Firstly: what is mentioned in my scree shot below is correct?

Which SSDs is the better, an External SSD or internal SSD?-usb3.0-esata-cable.jpg

If so, then I would be saying NOT disks having an eSata interface port, however, PCs. I've never ever come across a HD with An eSata interface port.
I have many external Western Digital Hard Disk Drives(Portable Hard Drive), however, they ALL have A USB 3.0 interface port. Screen shot below.
Which SSDs is the better, an External SSD or internal SSD?-usb-3.0-interface-port.jpg
Also, they come with a USB Cable(screen shot below). However, there is not such a USB to eSata cable as what in your link above indicates by my first screen shot above.
Which SSDs is the better, an External SSD or internal SSD?-usb-cable.jpg

Thirdly: My HP pavilion dv6 laptop doesn't have two HDD bays. So, if I want to replace my existing local internal Toshiba HDD with a SSD, then I will need to install the SSD in-place of the HDD. So, how can I use my local internal HDD as an external Hard disk drive. I think all internal Toshiba hard disks have only an eSata interface port, and not a USB 3.0 interface port. So, Which kind of would I need to attach to a USB3 port?

    Finally:
I think you are still mixing things up. Any disk can be used as an external disk or internal disk - if the form factor fits (e.g. you cannot put a 3.5" disk into a laptop but into a desktop).
I don't know if such (External Portable) external Western Digital Hard Disk Drives(Portable Hard Drive) whose screen shot is above can be fitted into inside a laptop or not. There is no dimensions of that external Western Digital Hard Disk Drives(Portable Hard Drive)

For instance, my laptop has one 2.5 inch hard drive bay. So, I don't know if I am going to put an external Western Digital Hard Disk Drive in the internal 2.5 slot, it will be fitted or not.

The advantages of the Samsung 850 Pro Evo and the Intel 730 may be noticeable in some situations but are not "very significant", certainly not when compared to other more important factors to you in your personal situation. Intel's claim to fame is reliability, rather than speed. Samsung is among the fastest, but Samsung is NOT noted for good customer service if you ever need it.

Your biggest issue by far is the reliability of your sources and the price in Yemen. That's far more important than any decision about brand or model.

ANY SSD that is not broken is clearly superior to any HDD. The disadvantages are price and capacity.

It's certainly possible that you would be disappointed by the performance of ANY SSD, particularly considering prices available in Yemen. They are clearly faster and the speed increase is noticeable in many operations, but some people are disappointed, saying "it's not as noticeable as I had been led to believe".

I certainly wouldn't own one if I had to pay Yemen prices.

It's up to you to decide whether or not to take a chance on any particular source you find. Personally, I'd find a reliable source not subject to fraud or theft and pick from what they had to offer. If losing $350 is not a big deal to you, then take a chance on any deal you find on eBay or wherever and see what happens. No one else can help you decide on that and you are the foremost authority on your available sources.

    Thanks a lot,
No worries about Kingston SSD at all, except the price. No loosing $350 at all since I'll purchase this Kingston SSD from local market (Yemen). However, the price of Kingston SSD is not reasnably priced as opposed to the price of the Samsung 850 Pro EVO , which is the first brand at eBay.com with $359, and $16 shipping fees. However, the loosing $359 might be while purchasing from eBay.com since the seller will send the 850 Pro EVO to Yemen. However, it will be stolen in Yemen customs.
    I hope you understand me.
