Look again at the board and check the model number. The specs say a 4 pin ATX 12V connector. But your pictures clearly show an 8 Pin plug.

As far as the PCIe card, you can see if you can return it for now, or try to sell it. But, yes, I've built more computers than I care to count. But, it's been a while since I built one of the model you have.

Why don`t you just drop it off at a shop, let them look it over, then have them give you a price to get it up and running.

Before you destroy it

Yeah I would take it to a shop but I am poor. Well not poor but all the pay my parents get goes into rent and stuff so I don't get pocket money the only way I can get money is by mowing my neighbours lawn and I only get 20 nzd every two weeks so It's gonna be hard because they usually cost hundreds.

To fix this pc I'm using spare parts and am willing to buy cheap parts.
Look I just wanna play Half-Life 2,all my friends are mocking me because its already past 10 years old and I still haven't played it

Do you have any friends who are good at computers and maybe have some spare parts they would loan you to try out. The spare parts would help you more than anything else. We could swap parts out one at a time until we figured it out. We will stay with you and help as long as we have some ideas and things to try. When you bought it did they tell you what was wrong with it, or give you any idea?

UEFI hard drive boot order and boot menu are completely ignored
I have a bit of a puzzle, and I don't know whether to blame the motherboard maker, Microsoft, or -- this is a really distant third choice, obviously -- myself. (That being said, UEFIs and GPT drives are new to me, so that distant third choice might not be as distant as I'd hoped.) I recently set...

Reconfigured D drive afterward I couldn't boot my computer. Tried various methods to recover. I run Windows 7 home premium 32bit. As for why I reconfigured the drive, there was a virus on the drive that my antivirus couldnt remove, and I knew reconfiguring a drive would destroy any file on the...

Boot Drive Only Successfully Boots with Second Hard Drive
Although my Disk 0 (see attached Computer Management jpg) displays itself as the boot drive, it will not boot up alone. I must power up a second drive (labeled Disk 1) to view Disk 0.
