Yes, it's simple to extend C.

No, I wouldn't run checkdisk.

I would run an SSD benchmark to confirm my SSD was performing as expected.

It will also confirm alignment as previously mentioned in this thread post 27.

Get the AS SSD benchmark here:

Download AS SSD Benchmark - MajorGeeks
I read post 43, and posted the results of diskpart, offset was 1024.
Then I'm unclear why you ask about alignment in post 64.

Reason for split was that I hardly use 35 GB for W7 and all apps, does it make a difference in performance, can they be merged?

Here is a screen shot of Disk management.

Thanks.
Hi,
I can't tell from your disk management image how much space is free out of the C drives almost 70gb,
Ideally you would see as I have is a little more than 50% listed as free,
Then just leave the rest as unallocated for now,
Cheers.

You will have to run the exe twice, second time a couple of minutes after the first time. Been some time since I ran it, should have the instructions built in.
Cant copy the cmd results.

Here is the attached file.

Care to have an expert look.

Thanks,

Ops wont get attached?

Hello again,

Of the 70 GB of C, 21.1 GB is been used.

What should be done?

Thanks.

I had no idea that was linked to alignment.
