Dual monitor setup hdmi to vga on 2nd monitor shows nothing

    Once again, I wish people would post actual manufacturer`s links of their parts when asking for help.

    VGA only on those monitors ? How old are they ?

    Ok, so as information for someone else in my situation, I purchased a basic vga cable and this hdmi to vga converter: Amazon.com: Cable Matters® Gold-Plated Active HDMI to VGA Adapter (Male to Female) with 3 Ft Micro USB Cable - Black: Computers & Accessories and it solved the problem. Didn't even have to use the usb to power it. Worked like a champ. A hdmi to vga cable did not work originally, but this converter suggested to me did.
