Will 2.4 Ghz mouse interfere with wi-fi?

I just purchased a 2.4 Ghz wireless mouse. Then it occurred to me that my wi-fi network also is 2.4 Ghz.

Will one interfere with the other? How would I know? Would the cursor become jerky, streaming become unreliable? Or should I not worry at all?

I haven't seen my Logitech M505 interfere with wireless before. Maybe it would be a problem if there were lots of 2.4Ghz devices in the room, perhaps like an Internet café/classroom/etc.?

Thanks GokAy. That's encouraging. I'll remove the packaging and start using it.

I'm inviting other responses also in case there is some evidence or other information that I should consider. I just don't want to have a wi-fi problem and start suspecting my mouse.

The WiFi and the mouse work on different sub-frequencies and there is enough space between them so that they shouldn't interfere with each other. In fact, they are designed not to and it's legally regulated by the FCC and other regulatory bodies.

I don't think you have anything to worry about as far as interference goes.
