    Processor ID? Help?


    Received from some guy who was supposed to give me three i5 processors. So far only one. Trying to figure out what this one is.

    Still no image.
    It is best to post the image on the forum as many members will not access an off site image.

    The other side of pins, the metal square cover. It should write in faint text model stepping etc

hai friends, I'm thinking of replacing my desktop processor. I'm interested in Intel but my budget ain't for i5 or i7 processor. I need suggestions.I'm interested in core 2 duo or core 2 core.Is there any better processor? Is i3 in the above said processor's range?

This is a 64 bit processor in unit, repeat only a 64 bit , not a 32/64 only a 64 chip. tried to load windowsXp 32 bit operating system, loaded but several functions did not work. tried twice I assume this can't be done ?? correct? Loaded windows 7 64bit works like a charm.

hello, sorry dont know where to quite put this post.. my question is... is there a way to find out if your processor needs to be replaced. To be alittle more specific i have been having all kinds of locking up both internet browsing and gaming. i now have installed the 64 bit version of home...
