Windows 7: Wet SSD mounts but can only see some files/folders

Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64-bit 7601 Multiprocessor Free Service Pack 1
 
 
Wet SSD mounts but can only see some files/folders

Laptop went for a swim
Does not boot or maybe display is bad
Removed SSD and can get to mount on desktop
Can see some files/folders
Any idea where everything else went?

That's System Reserved partition, open Disk Management and see if you can assign a drive letter to it (or that it is shown).

Another thing I thought is this is your desktop's system reserved. Can you actually see SSD as a disk in Disk Management?

My old 70GB HDD which is now in a USB caddy is refusing to mount as a Hard Disk Drive and is instead mounting as a Device with Removable Storage. I have two newer SATA drives in USB caddies as well and these both mount correctly. How can I make it so that it mounts as a HDD? Oli
