Windows 7: Nokia C2-01 "Drive" Crashes Explorer

Nokia C2-01 "Drive" Crashes Explorer

Under "Computer" the C: drive shows up as normal, but so does a "Drive" called "+Nokia C2-01" When I try to access it it crashes Explorer which then restarts.

Can't find where it's located. Does not show up on Disk Manager. Not sure what created it (but probably some software to access an old Nokia phone). Would like to clean it up and get rid of it.

Any thoughts welcome.

Hello, as a start I'd look for anything Nokia related in these 3 places:

- Computer management > Services
- Installed Programs
- Startup programs (am using ccleaner > tools > startup, or run in regedit, see https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/lib...=vs.85%29.aspx )

With a little planning and care it should be safe to disable\delete\uninstall suspected entries, but do make a backup\image before doing anything.

Thanks, but I don't think this is a program. It seems to be a drive partition or similar. Does not show up on disk manager.

ok, take a look with MiniTool Partition Manager Software for Windows PC and Server and see if anything shows up.

Search registry for "Nokia C2-01" and see what will come up. Report back if you can't make anything out of it.
