Where Can I find Results Of Checkdisk?

I recently ran a checkdisk on my computer. It took a couple of hours, but unfortunately when it finished, I was not around, and my computer restarted. I don't know what it found. where can I find this info?

Thanks,

Michael

A 500 GB should not take that long, run it again while you`re around.

Start/Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Event Viewer and open Windows logs in left pane. Double-click "Application". Look for chkdsk in the source column in the right pane for the time chkdsk was run. Double click that row to bring up details.

If the chkdsk is run on a reboot, as it would for a C drive, the results should be under a “wininit” listing in the source column, rather than under chkdsk.

Thanks Ignatz! Yep, it was under winnit. Chekdisk found no problems in file system.

AddRam, you're right, it should not take that long. don't know why it did.
