Cannot resize Win 7 partition

    Cannot resize Win 7 partition


    Hi, i just uninstalled Ubuntu and GNU/GRUB and now i cannot resize the main partition with win7. i tried diskmgmt.msc and gparted. Any ideas what happend?

    Try with Partition Wizard free, disk management won't understand Linux format. Also are you trying to extend to the left of Windows partition?

    Have you attempted to do it through diskpart via CMD?

    Hello kecupak!

    First, you need to go to Disk Management and delete the partition where Ubuntu was installed. It needs to have a black stripe. Then try again. If it doesn't work, it could be the limitations of Disk Management, especially with the C: OS partition.

    You need to use a third party software for the aim.
