Startup and keyboard problems

Sorry if this is wrong forum.

All of a sudden, programs that are in Msconfig and Startup, fail to load upon boot.

The programs are also checked in Icons - notification window.

The more pressing problem is that I keep losing my keyboard ( keys are opening Print, docs, etc), but no letters.

The way I've found to get it back is to log off and log on. (previously tried restart and even shut down and boot).

I've run Mbam, Sas, Herdprotect and Adw - nothing found.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Paul

Crazy, very crazy computer.

I really don't know what he problem is but I would try another keyboard first.

I would install the different keyboard and let Windows pick the default drivers.

Found the culprit.

The ALT key on right was sticking.

Hit it a few times and the keyboard is now responding properly.

As to why programs that used to load no longer do at boot - still occurring.
