    Mouse(s) acting up

When these problems occur, it's happens for both my usb mouse and my touchpad. I'm using a laptop.

Seemingly randomly and starting from last night, my mouse will all of a sudden start acting really weird. Left clicking results in right clicking and right clicking results in nothing. Or sometimes, no clicks will work at all until all of a sudden, everything starts working fine again. I've run Malwarebytes, CCleaner and have restarted my machine, but the problem will randomly come back. My mouse driver is also apparently up to date. I'm not sure what kind of additional information you need to diagnose the problem, but let me know!

A new problem that's just ocurred is I can't click on active tabs in Chrome to switch between them, but I can click on everything else including the new tab and close tab buttons. That might just be a Chrome problem though.

Simple fix. When all goes wrong, re-install the entire operating system to rule out software issues. It prevents you from having to deal with potential infections which can sometimes be impossible to clean once they infiltrate your system. Once you do a clean install.... update the drivers.... (and you should be backing up your pc regularly anyways) report back and let us know if you're still getting the issue. If you are, that will tell you it's a hardware issue.
