    Blu tooth mouse problem

I bought a new HP 250 G3 i5 @1.7GHz 4GB 1600MHz RAM laptop for traveling and fed up with breaking or losing those wireless dongles I have bee using for wireless mice. SoI bought a Logitec M557 Blu tooth mouse.

Now there are no drivers from Logitec and I have installed the Windows 7 Blu tooth driver for this machine from HP and done a sfc and chkdks /f /r malware scans ad infinitum but the mouse I find even though I set the folder options to one click as I like it set - I have to double click the left button and even so it seems to take forever for the action I want to actually happen.

I don't have this problem on my old Toshiba and I can only think it is because the Intel core on that machine is @ 2.4GHz and I have 8GB RAM albeit slower RAM on it too.

Oh touchpad is disabledso it is nt intereferring with th emouse unless I have got that very wrong.

    Any ideas?

    Hi,
Not sure if disabling the touch pad is a great idea or not,
I would just adjust the touch sensitivity to where it needs a harder touch to do anything.

I've never been a fan of wireless or blue tooth items.

Ok Ken I will try making it harder the touchpad less sensitive - it is I just don't like them for hygeine and constantly brushing it reasons and the machine going ape with my posts. Just by the by because I had to go left handed from a right shoulder injury makes me reach across the thing when I am typing.

I am just the same with touch screens I reckon they are grubby things left well alone. What I don't get though is my Gigabyte one back home works flawlessly.

Hmm might be solved Ken I just took the thing apart and the device works with two batteries one it seems works the left bank and the other the right.
Now I did notice the left hand bank battery was a tad sloppy in it's fitting so have wedged (for the time being) a tiny bit of kitchen foil to take out the "slack" to the left hand battery and so far so good. When I get back home I shall stretch the battery spring to fix it.:)
