    RAM for Toshiba A505-6005

    Hello folks,

I have Toshiba A505-6005 with 4GB RAM. I would like to update the RAM but I have super hard time figuring out which one to buy. Following are the details of the RAM currently installed.

    I found
    G.SKILL Model F3-8500CL7D-8GBSQ Laptop Memory - Newegg.com

    G.SKILL 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Laptop Memory Model F3-10600CL9D-8GBSQ - Newegg.com

    G.SKILL 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Laptop Memory Model F3-1333C9D-8GSA - Newegg.com

Mushkin Enhanced Blackline Model 997066 Laptop Memory - Newegg.com

Can anyone tell me which is best fit?

    Thanks a million.

    Hi,
    Well you have 1066 now,
You really need to know which mother board and search what it's capable of using to select ram,
You can use cpuz to figure that one out,
    CPUID

Or you can use a memory upgrade search feature of any ram manufacture offers,
    Crucial.com - Crucial System Scanner

    Thanks ThrashZone

Please confirm if this is what you need. If not, which tab I should take a screenshot of in CPU-Z

    Hi,
Go to the Mainboard section and memory too and post those images :)

Also use the Crucial search utility and upgrade ram selection to see what they suggest,
Post the product they recommend too that will give us an example of a upgrade product to search with.

    RAM for Toshiba A505-6005

I had an toshiba laptop and it was a not a great deal it broke all the Time 4 no reason i Think they use some type of cheap/faulty components even when i fixed the keyboard or changed ram the problem still hapend it's a very bad company... You can read this problem around the web too , I lost like 600 eu only on repairs and the reason why it broke it was a cheap custom motherboard which heat sink was so placed that it wasn't even getting any heat... And btw it had i5 and it was almost the same like your one, it was satellite series laptop
