How to format a HDD with no OS or windows CD?

    How to format a HDD with no OS or windows CD?


    Basically, formatting a HDD without using windows recovery mode nor windows install disc.

    These discs simply do not work, and only boot to a black screen with cursor.

    Thank you in advance!

    (Yes i have win 7 install & recovery discs)
