    Mouse No Longer Working

Okay, so this morning mouse on Desktop/start menu was working fine this morning.

I went to do some physical work outside of my room. I came back to use my PC, and I can no longer use my left mouse button mouse ANYWHERE outside of my desktop. What the hell happened to my PC?! I cannot use my left mouse button on ANYTHING that's not included "desktop".

    Try:
    - Restarting the PC
    - Remove the mouse and plug it back in
    - Uninstall the driver and restart the PC
    - A clean startup - Troubleshoot Application Conflicts by Performing a Clean Startup
    - Scan with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware free just in case

Already tried your first 2 options last night after it happened. Did nothing. I cannot click on ANYTHING outside of the desktop.

Edit: I also have no anti-malware software, and it's not malware related. I have not gone to any "questionable" sites since I've gotten this computer (I did a format on it when I got it a couple months ago). I don't know wtf happened to this thing when I went to go throw some crap out, I came back in 10 minutes and my mouse could only click on desktop icons. I don't know if the mouse works in games or not, since I haven't played any since last night.

Try a System Restore to a date before the issue - System Restore

That worked. I should have thought of doing that. Thanks! I was lucky enough that I had a restore point.

Do you have automatic updates on or set to notify? I would try another System Restore (check which applications are affected by it, it is an option) and it is fixed again try to find the update.

Do you consider yahoo.com a "questionable" website?
