Computer doesn't power on after installing new CPU-Cooler

    Hi guys,

I installed a new CPU-Cooler (Scythe Mugen 4) on my computer and to do so had to remove my mother board (A88XM-E35, socket FM2+) and graphic card (R7250-OC-2GD3) from my computer. After putting back the mother board, with the graphic card and CPU-Cooler attached on it, my computer doesn't power up anymore.

I have been trying to fix this problem for several hours now but I am unable to do so. My first thought is that I didn't connect the mother board or graphic card back correctly, but I am unable to find the issue. Could anyone help me and try to guide in me in finding the issue?

Go back over ALL of the connections again. There are 2 power connections to the motherboard, the 24 pin and either a 4 pin or 8 pin CPU power. The video card power connection. Those are the only basic ones needed for it to power on. Obviously power is needed for the hard drive to boot up, the ones listed are all that is needed for the motherboard to power up and be able access the BIOS.

    Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
The only connection not mentioned is the front panel one
If it was a single plug make sure none of the pins on the board are bent when you put it back in

Also look on the back where the cord plugs into the psu and see if it has a small toggle switch on it.

Also make sure that the CPU fan is plugged into the CPU fan header.
