Yes, 'ThrashZone', our version is [3] on the list- Windows 7 Professional SP1 x64. I didn't look at it real closely, but it seems that we saw 'SP1' in the criteria.

OK, I think we'll migrate what we have to SSD for now, since the current install has been run through Recovery not long ago. We need to study some things, like aligning, etc., and get a copy of Paragon and get after it. The intent is to get the OS and my progs on the SSD, wipe my 1 TB HDD, and just run Documents, Photos, Videos, etc. on the HDD.

We appreciate all of your inputs, guys- Thanks a bunch!

Kind Regards-

No problem it was amazingly easy to do as a clean install
These clone or transfer processes can be problematic so wait a little while before scrubbing the hdd

Might want to do some maintenance too like clearing temp files...
I use this about every week it's great and a lot safer than ccleaner

Temp files delete,
Download to your desktop,
Right click it and Run as administrator and Start the scanner,
Shut your machine down after it finishes if prompted too,

Hey, thanks for the link... I use CCleaner about daily to clean up and didn't know it wasn't safe as far as the Temps go. Usually, I just wind up doing it manually, but that's a bit of a hassle with all the permissions stuff. We'll give it a try!

Most people use ccleaner safely and it has gotten a lot safer than the early days
I just believe TFC is a lot easier to use and a lot less bloat
Anything else and I just use windows built in tools to clean or like you said manually

Does Windows 7 have AHCI drivers at install
I have found on 4 different boards if I install in AHCI mode, Windows 7 seems to "find" the drivers for running in AHCI/RAID mode at install. If I install in IDE mode, it does not and I have no option to switch to AHCI/RAID if needed. In the past you had to press F6 (or whatever) and install them...
