Windows 7: How can I get my screen to power on with my computer

Why not just leave the monitor(s) turned on? They go into low-power mode when the computer's video drops out. Less than 1 watt of power consumption.

Fair enough. Thanks all for your input! It seemed like something that should be fixable, but if it's not--it's certainly something I can live with.
