Best way to back up failing HDD
I have a hard disk that is almost completely dead and I want to save all my personal files before it becomes unreadable. What is the best way to do this without causing further damage to the disk?

Sorry that you are having problems. If it were my machine, I would make an image using Macrium Reflect, but then again I already have it on my HD.
If you are not so fortunate, using an external hard drive, just drag and drop your personal stuff to the external.
Anything more than the above may cause additional problems.
As mentioned by Richc46 Image using Macrium Imaging with free Macrium
Or Copy/Paste in the Recovery console Copy & Paste - in Windows Recovery Console
Or use a Live Linux CD/USB Emergency Kit - save your files from a dead OS
Thanks
