New motherboard - no beep at system startup

Have been building my own PS's since mid 90's...but this one has me stumped - am trying to set up a new box to do a fresh/clean install of my licensed Win 7 Pro 64bit dvd prior to a new Win 10 upgrade.

    new mb - M5A99X-EVO R2.0
    new CPU - AMD-6-CORE FX-6300 8M R
    new memory - 4Gx2 GSKILL F3 14900CL9D-8GBSR

System starts up and green light lights on MB but that's it - no beep - no system start up - All these components were checked for compatibility and there are/were supposed to be no issues ?

There are a few mb connector cables I'm not sure about...have attached jpgs on general issues

Where do I begin my trouble shooting to at least get a start up bios beep in this system ? . 1st of all on this motherboard's connectors is the white wire the - or ground - and the colored wire the + or positive re the power jpg attached ?

    Thanks...TiminAz

With everything new, it could be any component. The motherboard, CPU, Memory or power supply. If you have another known good power supply, start with that. If its not the power supply, remove all except one memory module and see if that makes any difference. Even remove them all and see what happens.

As its apparently not POSTing (Power On Self Test), I would more suspect the motherboard or CPU, assuming you have all the power connected to the motherboard (the 24 pin and the connector in #2 in your drawing.

Do you have the 8 pin cpu connector plugged all the way in. They do fit tight.

Many new motherboards don't have speakers so you will not hear beeps.

Your dead on on the 8 pin connector...also did reset the graphics card in the slot...most likely the 8-pin but maybe the gaphic card slot was contributing...all up and running now...

    Thanks...TiminAz
