Is Win 7 compatible with LightScribe?

I customized an HP Pavilion dv4t series notebook with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit and LightScribe disc labelling. I returned it since LightScribe was not included. I ordered a 2nd one with same configurations and again no Lightscribe Logo. Technical support from HP confirmed that LightScribe was not included on the 2nd one aswell. Is Windows 7 compatible with Lightscribe drive?

Yes, if the drive has Lightscribe and the drivers for said drive support Windows 7.

Thanks Guys, but I just found out that people with NVIDIA cards have issues with LightScribe:
Nvidia Chipset users - LightScribe uslessIf you have an Nvidia chip set chances are that you can't use your light scribe.

You can download Lightscribe as a standalone or use it in conjunction with Nero or SONIC follow this link for Light Scribe.
P.S. Make sure your optical drive is a lightscribe device.
