dominickbuff welcome to SevenForums.

No the back plate only serves a mostly cosmetic role. If you never clean the dust build up and it got heavy enough (shame on you) then maybe.....maybe it could prevent a short. Otherwise they just look cool !

First you`d have to post a link to your card we are not magicians

But anywho, you go to the manufacturers website and see if they have one or just google it. The Black is almost 2 years old already.

I`m sure someone made one for it, just google it.

EVGA doesn`t even list the black anymore, so good luck.

Read the last link I posted in reply #4

Also post a thread at the EVGA forums, apparently they made them.

Yep, they sell for $20 when you buy a new card, personally I think a card looks terrible without a back plate.

Contact EVGA directly, they have great support they will know exactly what you can put on it, if they have something, and it will not be expensive.

GTX Titan twice the $$ of 780 6 GB?
Can someone explain why the GTX Titan 6 GB is twice as expensive as the GTX 780 6 GB? Performance-wise, I'm getting from a couple of online comparisons that the GTX Titan only marginally exceeds the 780 6 GB. So, for what kind of user is the GTX Titan a better choice? In my case, it will be 3D...
