    Touch & pen support on Windows 7


    Hi, recently downgraded my Dell 11 Venue pro from W10 to W7 but touch screen not working.
    Installed all drivers but no success. Can't find the right answer for the problem.
    Any help much appreciated.

    Win 7 does not support touch screen. Win 8/8.1/10 do, however, it is best to only use the original supplied OS with this model.

    You wrong, Windows 7 does support touch screen.
    I'm using at work Panasonic xentry tab with Mercedes software which running Windows 7.
    Just need solution to run it on Dell.

can microsoft implement native multi gesture support for touch pad for windows 8, it like a small touch screen isn't it? as of now it works randomly with some application and not other eg zune, windows explorer doesn't work etc. the feature is so useful it's supprising that microsoft still haven't...

Haven't updated your laptop's trackpad driver lately? Then you may well want to consider doing so, at least if your laptop is equipped with a Synaptics trackpad. As a user on the Hardware Zone forums discovered, the latest Synaptics driver seems to enable multitouch gestures on older laptops...
Hi, I have two Acer 23 inch multi touch screens, being driven through a Matrox DualHead2Go. So the ATI graphics card thinks it is driving a single 2050 x 1080 monitor, the DualHead2Go then splits this across the two screens. Will Windows 7 support multi touch across two screens? Thanks.
