    Hi,
Yep you don't say which cpu you got but AddRam says the 6700 runs very cool on a stock cooler so the evo should do pretty good
You can use realtemp to see how it does
Download Real Temp 3.70 | techPowerUp
Thanks for the tip: yes, it's a 6700K.

That's a very good cooler and with a "easy OC" you'll likely see about a 10% increase. My point is you can likely get more increase with less voltage by doing it slowly through the bios. In my experience you won't feel that over clock at all. Send us some pictures of your build when done in our "Show Us Your Rig" post and good luck and have fun.
It's nothing fancy, just a basic build, so I don't know if pictures would show much. But either way, I have to get the thing running first! LOL

From what I read that's an input device code, pull everything but the keyboard and try again !

I don't know... I've seen photos of custom cases that had to take weeks or months to build, and a chunk of $$$, too. Heck, I don't even have a window in my case, LOL; just a case and guts. But I think I might post a photo if I ever get it running!

    Follow up on the Shield

    Hi All,

Here's a follow up on the shield. I finally got to bolting the new build together today. One of the cards (a TV Tuner) I was installing I had in the top slot in the last build, above the video card so as to not interfere with the video card's fans air intake.

Well... it didn't fit as the shield sticks out to far in the direction of the video card and blocked the installation. I had room to put the tuner a couple of slots down and the auxiliary/daughter back plate thing (I don't know what you call it) had just barely enough wire length to reach over the video card and go where I wanted the tuner to go.

    Just something to think about.
