Windows 7: Cant open one of my hard drives????

hey, im having problem with one of my hard drive, i cant open any files or using winrar in one of hard drives , it says ´"the file is damaged or corrupt or cant be read", 2 days ago i ejected an usb-memory(scandisk) with out using the built in program for eject, (was lazy, he he) and after that i cant use my files on that hard drive, ive tried to format the whole disk, and it didnt helped,is there some one who has,or had, the same problem , that knows what to do??

ive used the check disk scan, and it said there was nothing wrong with the disk, no im not looking for recovery of the disc, because there were nothing important on it. im just wondering if i have to buy a new one,and ive noticed that , when im trying to shut down the computer, it takes like 5 minutes or so,im thinking of re install Windows 7 on the computer, its just so boring,he he
