New hdd not showing up in my computer

Just got a new seagate 500gb hdd. It shows up in bios, and device manager, but not in my computer. I think this should be easy enough to solve, do I need to format it or anything?

Probably. Instead of Device Manager look instead at Disk Management. It will tell you if it's not formatted, or if it is formatted will let you assign a drive letter.

Did you not read the warning message ?

Turn it back to basic.

Convert a Dynamic Disk to a Basic Disk

Google will tell you what a dynamic disk is for.

Whenever you add a brand new disk to a system, questions will pop up, slow down, read the messages.

Get this dynamic disk out of the way and do what Maxseven says.
