How can I find out the application which use my webcam

    Hi,
I can not use my webcam with Skype because it comes a message that says "Your webcam may be used by another application. Close the application to start video streaming." How can I find out THIS application? Please help me because it lasts since 1 year ago. I have tried to apply the solution indicated in this forum but those did not help.

    Thank you for help.

    Regards,

Did you install any software with your camera ?

You can use Process Explorer. See How To Find What Program Is Using Your Webcam

You can run an application to find out the name of any process that uses your webcam.

Here's a link to download "Who Stalks My Cam"

    https://phrozensoft.com/2015/11/who-stalks-my-cam-8

The download is a zipped file that contains both the installer along with the portable version.

On another note it's possible to quickly enable or disable a webcam driver using this:

    WebCam On-off

If your security doesn't like the above link here's an alternate download link:

    Webcam On-Off Download

    EDIT:

File safety check for the suggested downloads.
