Create single volume from 2 separate disks (1 brand new, unallocated)?

I have 4 Disks as shown in the pictures.
(different view)

My 9-old HDD 320 GB drive was XP (C:\ DISK 2, Basic), and then I added a 120 GB SSD (S:\ Disk 1, System, Boot, Dynamic, Simple/Spanned) 3 years ago. Its not Active or Primary tho, C: is.

All programs user data on the S: drive. I am running out of space on S drive.

I added a new 240 GB SSD (Dynamic, Disk 3) - which has NO DATA and is Unallocated.
I want to aggregate S: Drive and this 240GB drive into one large volume to meet my space requirements.

However both Partition Magic and Disk Mgs "Extend" option is disabled. (WHY?? - is Extend option on the same physical drive only? Can one not span into other physical Disk Drives?)

Neither can I create a SPANNED Volume - the Spanned volume option is grayed out. (I tried with creating a Dynamic Disk on the 240 GB SSD but same result). (is it because I was tring to create spanned volume for the boot+system volume?)

Please note my old 320 GB drive (XP C:\ drive) is still "Active" although I migrated the BootMgr to the S: drive.

I cannot make S drive a Primary partition even though I tried this method (Partition Magic bootable CD --> Modify [same - problem as mine]).

But "Set Active" is grayed out :

If I cannot extend or span, what are my options?

Merge volumes on different physical disks to be one volume? This is also grayed out?
What can I do? Move the volume from the 120GB S drive to the 240 GB SSD?
Or set up RAID0?

Ideal scenario is a single volume (S and the 240 GB) with their total space aggregated.

Pretty confused. Thanks in advance for any help.
